The Reactive loaf is entirely unique and designed from the ground-up by Audiostorm. It allows you to tune the interactive feel and tone of your amp as it works and it responds electrically just like a real speaker.
The Inductance switch allows you to adjust how many windings your speaker has.
- High for more windings and more inductance, just like a high powered speaker.
- Low for less inductance and less windings just like a low powered speaker.
The Damping switch lets you select between
- Highly damped, similar to a heavy cone speaker with stiff surround.
- Low damping, similar to a lighter speaker with softer surround.
Although you can only subtly hear the tonal differences with these options the big difference is in feel and how they make your amp come alive during silent recordings. This system emulates the real, varying impedance load of a loudspeaker, just as you are familiar with using. We believe that emulating that natural interactivity is what allows you to lose yourself in the groove of playing and outperform your own expectations, and we do not believe in dramatically messing with your carefully hones tone.
