Dispatch Logistics

At present, supplying products globally gets more complex every year but we want everyone, everywhere to be able to access our products quickly, reliably and at fair prices so we try the best we can. If you have any questions or want us to use a specific service just contact us and we will do our best to make it happen.

Speed

Orders are normally packed on the day you order, and dispatched the next day at 9am (BST) from Monday to Friday. Orders that require customs documentation may take an extra day to process since I have to do this manually.

Over 95% of orders meet my targets but this is not a guarantee, so if you need a guaranteed dispatch date I am happy to answer queries and confirm in advance.


USA 

We generally find the USA to be a really great and easy place to ship to and love shipping here.

You can pay in US dollars of course: Our USD prices track the UK ones at the correct exchange rate with no added fees so they will vary a little from day-to-day, but this means you will always get the best possible price when paying in dollars, which we think is great and hope you do too!

TARIFFS
If tariffs are operating (as of March 2026 they are gone again…) please pay in USD they will be included and paid in advance. We pay them to Royal Mail, who pass them to USPS along with a digital receipt before your parcel reaches the border. Nothing for you to think about, no surprise charges, just fast and easy!

Taxes
Taxes are separate to Tariffs. We don’t collect or charge tax (for the simple reason it’s crazily complex and we don’t have the resources for that). For many parts of the USA there is no tax on imports under $800. A few others, such as California and New York, always collect import tax but you’re used to that already. Please check your local state laws if you are unsure.

Taxes March 2026 UPDATE
As of March 2026 we now DO pay State Taxes. Many states still don’t pay tax on imports under $800 but if you are in a state where tax is collected such as Cali and NY we will pay this in advance for you. Woo!

Shipping
All orders are sent via fully tracked airmail. It generally takes 5 to 7 working days for your purchase to arrive. Very rarely an order gets stuck in customs with a spot-check which can take a couple of weeks, but we add loads of documentation and will always do our best to follow up stuck orders. We’ve never yet had an order completely lost and undelivered.


UK

Shipping

Small orders attract a small postage charge. This was previously included in the price but meant you would often pay too much postage when buying two or more small items. Small item costs have been reduced accordingly. All Pedals and HotBoxes are above the threshold and so still include free postage.

All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48.

Pay with Stripe (very slightly lower fees for us) or Paypal as you prefer.

VAT

We are currently NOT VAT registered. This makes no difference to personal purchasers, the price you see is the price you pay, but does means that if you are a business you can’t claim any VAT back when buying from us. Sorry!

UK Special Delivery

Please contact me BEFORE purchasing this option to avoid disappointment. If you do NOT contact me first then it can take up to 24 hours for dispatch. For example: If I have handed over all parcels at 9:30am on a Tuesday, and you place an SD order at 10am it might not get seen or sent out until the following day and then will be received Thursday. BUT if you contact me I can arrange a second, same-day dispatch just for you! 🙂


EU

Shipping

All orders are sent by tracked airmail. No exceptions.

Tax

You may CHOOSE to pay with DDP which includes taxes (recommended) or with DUP which does not include taxes and take the risk your parcel will arrive with or without fees (not recommended!)

At some point in the near future we will be removing the DUP option and all shipments will include tax.

France (specifically)

I am super pleased to say that as of March 2026 France is now really easy for us to ship to! Royal Mail finally added the ability for anyone to pay tax in advance and it means we can use fast shipping to France with our digital customs systems passing along all the correct information and proof in advance for zero hassle.

Deutschland (specifically)

Germany can be a tough place to ship into but we love our German customers and comply with all import rules: We are fully registered with VerpackG (any business shipping into Germany must declare packaging waste amounts and pay for recycling) and always attach full import documentation and (so far) I have had no problems shipping here.


Returns

You may return any product, for any reason within 30 days. We do ask that you pay return postage. If the item is returned because of a fault then once we have received the item (and verify that you didn’t plug it in backwards without realising) we will arrange a replacement, repair or refund in full of all your costs as per your preferences.

We sadly can not issue pre-paid returns labels because the minimum requirement for us to sign up to this service is 20 returns a week, and honestly, we don’t even get 20 returns in a year.

You may return a product from anywhere in the world, but please contact us first as we would much rather try to arrange a local repair service when possible.

When returning from outside the UK do not return without an international returns approval code (we can help arrange this) otherwise you will be treated by default as a seller and your return will not arrive due to ‘lack of sales information’ and, following on from this, ‘unpaid taxes’. Once you have shipped us your item always send us the tracking code so we contact local postal services if there are any problems or queries to resolve.


Canada

Currency
We get quite a few orders from Canada and you can pay in Canadian Dollars (CAD) without problems. 

Taxes
We don’t collect or charge tax. As I understand it you are pretty much guaranteed to be charged import tax varying from 5% to almost 15% depending on your location. Feel free to correct me if this is wrong info.

Australia

Currency
We get quite a lot of orders from Australia and you can pay in Australian Dollars (AUD). 

Taxes
We don’t collect or charge tax. As I understand it you don’t pay import tax on purchases under AUD $1000 so unless you order a massive shipment there’s no tax issue.

Shipping
All orders are sent via fully tracked airmail. It generally takes 7 to 10 working days for your purchase to arrive. We’ve never yet had an Australian order stuck in customs or lost and undelivered. Australia is a great place to ship to.


All other countries and currencies

Laws are always changing and we do our best to adapt. If your country needs special documentation or there is some particular service we need to apply to in order to get a parcel to you, let us know and we will do everything in our power to comply.

The currency you select is the currency you will pay in.

We use Stripe for all international purchases. PayPal charge an extra 7% for currency conversions so this is only available when selecting GBP.

We use a currency tracking system that updates on a daily basis. This means you may see small price changes in USD, EUR and other currencies as our system tries to make sure you get the best possible value for your money.

 

Other locations, shipping & delivery questions

Currency not listed
You can pay in any of the available currencies regardless of shipping destination, but don’t pick Euros if you are not in the EU because you’ll be charged EU tax for no reason. If this happens by accident however I will refund you of course.

Taxes
This varies so much I can’t begin to come up with a list of rules. Please read above, then check with your local customs office if my notes say we aren’t able to pay.

We’ve never yet had an order completely lost and undelivered (although I shipped one to a tiny island one time, and it disappeared from tracking so I assumed it was lost, but then it turned up ten weeks later which was crazy!).

Difficult destinations
We know some places are a bit of a nightmare to ship to. If you are in one of those difficult locations where stuff goes missing, or where importing is tricky, then please email me and we can have a chat about what couriers are most reliable, make sure your address is exactly correct, and I’ll go the extra mile to overcome any problems. 

No ship zones
There are a few places we can’t ship to. If you make a purchase and shipping is not an option we will simply refund you. Sorry.

How quickly do you post?
Monday to Thursday we usually ship out next day.
Fridays and weekend orders are usually shipped on Monday.
If you need something urgently let me know and I’ll try to offer you a faster option.

How quickly will I get my goods?
Usually 2-3 working days in UK, around 5-7 working days in Western Europe, 7 to 10 working days in Eastern Europe and around 10 to 14 days for Australia, Asia and USA/Canada. This is NOT a guarantee however! Customs do reserve the right to do random spot-checks and then it turns up 2-8 weeks later. It is very, very rare for this to happen but sadly there is nothing we can do about it when it does.

Brexit
Our EU customers are incredibly important to us, so please don’t judge us based upon crazy decisions by a ruling class we have no control over. We’re doing everything we can to keep shipping to Europe, and with a few companies now letting us pay taxes in advance hopefully we can restore some good feelings and trust over the coming years.

Parts shortages and price increases
Many parts have become hard to obtain or tripled in price in recent years. I’ve done my best to manage this but price increases are inevitable as time goes on.
