Terms & conditions

All our products come with a minimum of a 5 year warranty. This warranty covers all product part failures due to parts flaws or defective manufacturing.

We do not warranty for wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or abuse including, but not limited to: Physical impact such as dropping the unit in a way that damages the controls, liquid damage of any sort, burnout damage typically due to an infrequently serviced or incorrectly biased amplifier, reversing the amplifier connections to the unit so that sensitive parts burn out, or any form of incorrect usage.

Wherever possible we will offer to repair any product we have manufactured that is out of warranty or that has suffered damage not covered under warranty for a fee. We will try to keep this fee as reasonable as possible and do not seek to profit from it.

By using any of our attenuators you accept that your amplifier will be working at a higher power level, often at touring levels or in continuous overload conditions and you agree to keep your amplifier serviced and maintained in a way that is usual for amplifiers used in this manner. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that the bias is properly checked on a regular basis so that idle currents are correct for your equipment, and that the power tubes are also checked regularly and replaced as necessary in accordance with the manufacturers expected lifespan for your particular tubes and equipment. By using any of our attenuators or load boxes you acknowledge that you fully understand your amplifier may be working at an extreme level that requires more attention and care to ensure its ongoing good condition even though you might only hear a quiet amount of volume produced and agree to be fully responsible for that care.

Our attenuators are perfectly safe for use with any tube amplifier that is properly maintained and meets our specifications. We are not responsible for harm that comes to your amplifier through misuse, use without regular maintenance, or use in any manner that we have not recommended.

I admit don’t really know what GDPR compliance is, but I’m working towards understanding it as and when I can. I presume it’s basically “don’t be an asshole” and about giving you control over your data, which I am trying to do, but it’s all very complicated and mainly seems to be aimed at evil mega-corps with a team of developers. The compliance documents are literally bigger than the entire documentation I have for the whole of my business and so small businesses like mine are very much side-lined and at the mercy of all these expensive weird technical requirements. TL:DR I’m doing my best and I fully support your right to privacy.
